Several other guys here at Dream 100 and a bunch of listeners are also getting involved in the massive challenge, which will see them spending five days, in October, climbing 19,341 feet to the top of the world's highest freestanding mountain.
But that's not all...
When the team jet off to Tanzania in October, they'll also be spending two days offering their services at a local school in Moshi, helping out in an orphanage or maybe giving a lick of paint to buildings in need of repair.
The idea behind this crazy venture is to raise as much money as possible for a very worthy charity. The aim of the Dream 100 Kids Trust Charity is to improve the lives of individuals and groups living in the North Essex area by providing donations to drive education, health, welfare, ability and opportunity.
As the only radio station in the area broadcasting local news and information all day, seven days a week, we're passionate about raising money to help local families and children.
Between now and the departure date on 16 October 2010, Jenny and the team will be holding fundraising events across North Essex and asking you to dig deep and donate.
Make sure you keep checking back here to find out where the next event will be held and check out Jenny's Blog for all the latest on her training and attempt to get fit in time to climb the mountain.
Now for the big one...if you're feeling generous, please go to www.justgiving.com/Jenny-Line and give as much as you can to a very worthy cause.
But Jenny is not the only one taking part so if you've got some more spare pennies then please hand them over to these brave people who've agreed to take on the challenge too:
