The Breakfast Show with Dom Atkins

Every weekday morning from 6am - 10am Dom Atkins wakes you up with the latest news, great songs and chances to win.

The Dream 100 Breakfast Show with Clacton Factory Outlet, Priceless Shopping!

This son of a preacher man from Wimbledon has well and truly adopted Essex as his home. He's been here most of his life and wouldn't have it any other way.

His CV is a mixed bag, previous jobs include locksmiths assistant, shark feeder and chef at the Sealife Centre and security guard for the VAT man. He also helped build a Xmas grotto at Harrods and did 2 days work for Sir Alan Sugar building video recorders on a production line, ‘If you bought one of those I'm sorry if it rattles! I dropped a few screws!!!'
He started his radio career doing airborne traffic reports across East Anglia years ago, but vowed to stay on the ground after an engine burst into flames! Since then he's been heard on many radio stations across the country before settling in Essex ‘where the people are nicer'.

When he's not on the radio Dom spends as much time as possible with his wife Claire and kids... well that's unless Liverpool are on the telly, or Dr Who and X Factor. In what time he has left Dom reviews films for a magazine and has enjoyed
interviewing stars like Christian Slater, Danny Boyle and Colin Firth.
