Free car parking is being introduced over the Christmas period on a number of sites in Tendring in a bid to boost festive trade. Tendring District Council will be axing charges at selected locations throughout the District after 2pm for five weeks from Monday December 7. But does this go far enough, would you be encouraged to shop in town centres more throughout the year if the scheme was extended?
