Recent News Highlights
Colchester United - the U’s were relegated to League 1 and also played their last game at Layer Road. Dream 100 ran a series of specials interviewing backroom staff at the club on their time at Layer Road. These featured over a weekTravel Lodge in Clacton - with the announcement a new travel lodge would open in Clacton Dream 100 got tonnes of public reaction to the news and broadcast extended pieces as it really hit a nerve.
PCT special - a week long special on how North East Essex PCT were going to make health services better for us was broadcast on Dream 100. Journalists tailored the pieces to make sure they really targeted the listener. These were ran throughout one week in breakfast bulletins.
Afghanistan - the last Essex troops to be deployed to Afghanistan left the county - Dream 100 was there to interviews the soldiers before they flew off
Cyprus sentencing - 2 young men from Essex were sentenced for manslaughter after a supreme court in the country over turned a verdict without a retrial. Dream 100 spoke to journalists in Cyprus and campaigners back home
A12 inquiry - An inquiry into the A12 started. Dream 100 was at the start of it and had interviews with the man chairing the inquiry (Sir David Roland) and voxes of commuters

How To Complain
Any complaints made are logged immediately with an acknowledgement receipt issued to the complainant within 24 hours. The details are then passed on to the relevant department. We will aim to resolve any complaint within 10 working days. If under any circumstances a solution to the complaint can not be agreed, a further complaint can be made with Ofcom. For advertising complaints, if we can not find a solution, the complaint can be taken up with ASA.
